9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The most comprehensive literary and academic |

10 | 11 | | contest in the nation, UIL motivates the more than half a million |

11 | 12 | | participants to acquire further knowledge and skills by providing |

12 | 13 | | them with opportunities to demonstrate their mastery of specific |

13 | 14 | | disciplines; and |

14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, In 2015, students from Woodville High performed |

15 | 16 | | admirably in the UIL theatrical design competition and advanced to |

16 | 17 | | the state competition; and |

17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, In addition to the school's team success, individual |

18 | 19 | | winners included Justin Livingston and Kelsey Hensarling, who |

19 | 20 | | qualified for state in the set category; and |

20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, The exceptional young theater students of Woodville |

21 | 22 | | High may take special pride in their success in the UIL competition, |

22 | 23 | | and their accomplishments are indeed worthy of special recognition; |

24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
