H.R. No. 1519
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jesse and Carolyn Hines of Commerce celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary on February 6, 2015, and they may indeed
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared;
and
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1965, Mr. and Mrs. Hines
exchanged the vows of matrimony, and over the course of their
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hines count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their children, James, Randy, and Shonda
Hines, as well as their six grandchildren and a great-grandchild,
with whom they treasure spending many special occasions; and
WHEREAS, For half a century, Jesse and Carolyn Hines have
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jesse and Carolyn Hines on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
