 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Daniela Gonzalez ably served her fellow Texans in
 the office of State Representative Yvonne Davis from March 9 to 13,
 2015, as a participant in the Dallas County Community College
 District Legislative Internship program; and
 WHEREAS, Sponsored by the DCCCD Office of Student Life and
 Eastfield College, the program provides a unique opportunity for
 Dallas County Community College District students to serve as
 interns in the Texas Legislature; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez is a 2014 honors graduate of Sunset
 High School in Dallas, where she was a Texas Scholar and a member of
 the National Honor Society, the track team, and the Key Club; she
 has also served as a teacher's helper and tutor at Celestino
 Mauricio Soto Jr. Elementary School; currently in her first year at
 El Centro College, she is a member of the iLead Leadership Academy;
 and
 WHEREAS, This impressive young woman performed her duties as
 a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she gained
 valuable work experience in the field of public service while
 learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing
 the citizens of the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Daniela Gonzalez for her participation
 in the Dallas County Community College District Legislative
 Internship program and extend to her sincere best wishes for
 continued success in all her future endeavors; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
