| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Erika Gonzalez of Robstown was crowned Miss Coastal |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A young woman of exceptional poise and |

| 8 | 9 | | determination, Ms. Gonzalez entered her first beauty pageant as a |

| 9 | 10 | | toddler; she has participated in a number of pageants in the years |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | since, and she recently won in her division at the Miss Teen |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Kingsville competition; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, In her junior year of high school, this accomplished |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Texan enjoys history, cheerleading, and practicing tumbling with |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | her friends; she currently works at a local restaurant and plans to |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | pursue a career in law; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Erika Gonzalez has demonstrated outstanding |

| 17 | 18 | | dedication in successfully pursuing her goal, and she is a source of |

| 18 | 19 | | great pride for her loved ones, her school, and her community; now, |
