|---|

| 13 | 14 | | commitment to maintaining Austin's architectural, cultural, and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, In 2014, Preservation Austin awarded the Texas |

| 16 | 17 | | Historical Commission a Preservation Merit Award for its |

| 17 | 18 | | stewardship of five historic buildings in the Capitol Complex: the |

| 18 | 19 | | Carrington-Covert House, the Christianson-Leberman Building, |

| 19 | 20 | | Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Luther Hall, and the Elrose Apartment |

| 20 | 21 | | Building; home to the commission's Austin-based staff and programs, |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Since 2008, the Texas Historical Commission has |

| 23 | 24 | | undertaken a series of rehabilitation and restoration projects that |

| 25 | 26 | | highest standards of conservation; the commission's dedication to |
|---|
