R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Cletus and Betty Wark of West University Place are
celebrating their 66th wedding anniversary on April 30, 2015, and
they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they
have shared; and
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1949, Mr. and Mrs. Wark
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Houston, and over the course of
their marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner;
and
WHEREAS, For more than six and a half decades, Cletus and
Betty Wark have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and
devotion, and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring
commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Cletus and Betty Wark on their 66th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
