| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Pflugerville Recreation Center is marking its |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Opened on April 29, 2000, by the Pflugerville Parks |

| 9 | 10 | | and Recreation Department, this state-of-the-art, 21,675 |

| 10 | 11 | | square-foot facility features a gymnasium with two half courts, an |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | elevated walking and jogging track, a nursery, and a game room where |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | patrons may play Ping-Pong, pool, football, and air hockey; the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | center's "Pfitness" room features free weights, cardio equipment, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | and a weight training circuit; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The center boasts nearly 1,400 members, and over |

| 16 | 17 | | 4,000 people take part in the more than 40 classes and programs at |

| 17 | 18 | | the facility each week, including Zumba, gymnastics, and karate, as |

| 18 | 19 | | well as programs for seniors; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, For 15 years, the Pflugerville Recreation Center has |

| 20 | 21 | | provided a welcoming location where area residents happily come |

| 21 | 22 | | together for exercise, recreation, and good fellowship, and it is a |

| 22 | 23 | | pleasure to join in celebrating this milestone in its history; now, |
