| 12 | 13 | | contest provides valuable support for book and tuition |

| 14 | 15 | | investments, and over $7.5 million in grants has been awarded to |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Prairie View A&M has competed in the challenge each |

| 17 | 18 | | year since its inception and made 19 previous appearances in the |

| 18 | 19 | | National Championship Tournament; after triumphing over 47 other |

| 19 | 20 | | teams, this year marks the second time Prairie View has captured the |

| 20 | 21 | | crown; the 2015 team has benefited from the able leadership of coach |

| 21 | 22 | | Herbert Thomas, and its members include Joseph Dowell, Brannon |

| 22 | 23 | | Billings, Eric Johnston, and Chayse Lavallais; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Through their expertise and hard work, the Prairie |
