| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Ms. McFarland has been an integral part of the Lady |

| 9 | 10 | | Bulldogs roster throughout the 2015 season in her role as a starting |

| 10 | 11 | | central defender; she helped the team to compile a perfect 21-0 |

| 11 | 12 | | record during the regular season and to capture the District 18-4A |

|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The 12Star Athlete of the Week honor is just the |

| 14 | 15 | | latest accolade received by Ms. McFarland, as she has been |

| 15 | 16 | | previously recognized as the All-District Defensive Player of the |

| 16 | 17 | | Year and as a Beaumont Enterprise Super Gold honoree; she will |

| 17 | 18 | | continue her athletic career at the collegiate level in the fall as |

| 18 | 19 | | a member of the soccer team at Lamar University; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This young athlete's skill and determination are an |
