| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Five eighth grade students from Waco Baptist Academy |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Ably guided by their science teacher, Melinda |

| 10 | 11 | | Johnson, the students demonstrated knowledge and skill in their |

| 11 | 12 | | chosen subjects; Lexys Rocha won first place in animal sciences and |

| 12 | 13 | | was a finalist for the Broadcom MASTERS Award; Luke Stanford took |

| 13 | 14 | | second place in cellular and molecular biology, and Grace Mathis |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | placed second in physics and astronomy; Joshua Gorman received an |

| 15 | 16 | | honorable mention in environmental science and second place in the |

| 16 | 17 | | Stockholm Junior Water Award, while Landen Daniels received an |

| 17 | 18 | | honorable mention for his efforts in materials engineering; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Through their participation in the Central Texas |
