| 10 | 11 | | year, and the team advanced through the early rounds of the |

| 11 | 12 | | postseason with decisive victories over Uvalde and Edcouch-Elsa |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, In the regional semifinals, Calallen dominated the |

| 14 | 15 | | team from Kerrville Tivy High School, notching a 57-33 win to |

| 15 | 16 | | continue its thrilling run; with a berth in the state tournament on |

| 16 | 17 | | the line in the regional final, the Lady Wildcats proved up to the |

| 17 | 18 | | task once again, besting Hays High School by one point in a tightly |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Calallen found itself in another close battle when |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | it matched up against Dallas Lincoln High School in the state |

| 21 | 22 | | semifinals at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin; the teams fought to |

| 22 | 23 | | a stalemate at the end of regulation, but the Lady Wildcats refused |

| 23 | 24 | | to let their season come to an end as they came away with the 68-62 |

| 24 | 25 | | overtime win that set the stage for a title game showdown against |

| 25 | 26 | | Waco Midway High School in the 4A final; inspired by the support of |
