| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Cheyenne Kennedy of Livingston High School proved |

| 8 | 9 | | School Women's Powerlifting Association State Meet, held on March |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, A senior competing at the state meet for the fourth |

| 11 | 12 | | consecutive year, Ms. Kennedy claimed the 5A crown in her weight |

| 12 | 13 | | class by tallying 1,230 pounds; her total included lifts of 300 |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | pounds in the bench press and 510 in the squat, which were tops for |

| 14 | 15 | | her division at the meet, as well as 420 pounds in the deadlift; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Kennedy qualified for state with a triumphant |

| 16 | 17 | | performance at the Region 4 Division 1 competition in Beaumont on |

| 17 | 18 | | February 26, where she compiled 1,270 total pounds and earned |

| 18 | 19 | | Outstanding Lifter and Outstanding Bench Press honors; her |

| 19 | 20 | | victories during 2015 have closed out an exceptional high school |

| 20 | 21 | | career in which she has set school and state records in a number of |

| 21 | 22 | | lifting categories, and she hopes to continue her powerlifting |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Through long hours of training and an undeniable |

| 24 | 25 | | will to win, Cheyenne Kennedy has claimed the mantle of state |
