45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Tyler Reese Blakey has ably served his fellow Texans
67 as an intern in the office of State Representative Jason Isaac
78 during the 84th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Blakey has provided
910 vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
1011 in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
1112 issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained
1213 valuable experience in the field of public service; and
1314 WHEREAS, Mr. Blakey is majoring in political science, with a
1415 minor in music, at Texas State University, where he is president of
1516 Phi Alpha Delta, a prelaw fraternity; a talented musician, he has
1617 played guitar, drums, and banjo and sung lead vocals at Sunset
1718 Canyon Baptist Church in Dripping Springs since 2008; and
1819 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
1920 duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is
2021 indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
2122 therefore, be it
2223 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2324 Legislature hereby commend Tyler Reese Blakey for his service as a
2425 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Jason
2526 Isaac and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in
2627 all his endeavors; and, be it further
2728 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2829 prepared for Mr. Blakey as an expression of high regard by the Texas
2930 House of Representatives.
