| 10 | 11 | | organizers Diane Mosier, president of River Oaks Area Democratic |

| 11 | 12 | | Women, and Lize Burr, president of Capital Area Democratic Women; |

| 12 | 13 | | it unites Democratic and progressive women seeking to address a |

| 13 | 14 | | variety of issues that affect the well-being of Texans, including |

| 14 | 15 | | income equality, public education, and access to essential health |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | care; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The inaugural Blue Ribbon Lobby Day drew more than |

| 17 | 18 | | 400 participants who met with state legislators to discuss a |

| 18 | 19 | | variety of matters, to advocate for progressive values, and to |

| 19 | 20 | | convey the message that women play an integral role in the |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | prosperity of the state; since its inception, the Blue Ribbon |

| 21 | 22 | | coalition has continued to grow, and its members are working |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | diligently to promote policies that increase the economic security |

| 23 | 24 | | of women and make a positive impact in the lives of their families; |

| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Our democracy is greatly enriched when all voices |
