| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Under the guidance of director Jennifer Welch, this |

| 9 | 10 | | outstanding troupe impressed the judges at the 2015 district meet |

| 10 | 11 | | with its production of To See the Stars by Cynthia Mercati, a play |

| 11 | 12 | | based on a true story about young girls protesting the brutal |

| 12 | 13 | | working conditions at a factory in New York City in 1909; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, In addition to the overall victory of the cast and |

| 14 | 15 | | crew, Kennedy Thompson was named to the All-Star Cast and Alex |

| 15 | 16 | | Taylor earned an honorable mention for his performance; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Through their talent and hard work, the members of |

| 17 | 18 | | the Silsbee High One-Act Play team have brought great credit to |
