| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout is an achievement shared by |

| 7 | 8 | | Jarrod L. Riggins of Georgetown heralds a future bright with |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has mastered a number of |

| 10 | 11 | | important skills in his quest to become an Eagle Scout; he has |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | earned 38 merit badges requiring expertise in such diverse areas as |

| 12 | 13 | | first aid, personal fitness, and environmental science, and he has |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | gained experience in leadership and teamwork while undertaking an |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Eagle Scout project, which involved constructing a wooden kiosk at |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Champion Park; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, A valued member of Boy Scout Troop No. 405, |

| 17 | 18 | | Mr. Riggins has served his peers as a leader, participating in over |

| 18 | 19 | | 100 days and nights of camping, and he has served his community by |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | taking part in 66 service projects; in so doing, he has exemplified |

| 20 | 21 | | the many positive traits for which Boy Scouts are renowned; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, In fulfilling the rigorous requirements for |

| 22 | 23 | | attaining the Eagle Scout insignia, Jarrod Riggins has demonstrated |

| 23 | 24 | | an unwavering commitment to the Boy Scouts organization and its |

| 24 | 25 | | ideals, and the knowledge and confidence he has acquired along the |
