H.R. No. 2088
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Highland Meadows Health and Rehab in Rockwall is
holding its grand opening on April 21, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Family owned and operated, Highland Meadows is
dedicated to helping area residents in need of its services to enjoy
happier, healthier, longer lives; taking a holistic approach to
patient care, the center's staff tend to not only the physical but
also the spiritual and emotional well-being of the people they
serve; and
WHEREAS, Highland Meadows offers assistance to patients who
are suffering from cardiac or orthopedic problems, postsurgical
complications, or the effects of a stroke, or who need help managing
wounds or diabetes; the well-rounded rehabilitation programs are
customized to meet the specific needs of each individual, with
patients receiving one-on-one therapy five days a week; physical,
occupational, and speech therapy are provided, along with patient
education and a range of other services; and
WHEREAS, The well-being of the citizens of Texas depends on
the skilled care administered by medical professionals, and the
addition of Highland Meadows Health and Rehab to the Rockwall
community is indeed occasion for celebration; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby commemorate the grand opening of Highland
Meadows Health and Rehab and extend to all associated with the
center sincere best wishes for a meaningful and memorable event;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
