| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Coach Turk guided a relatively inexperienced Bears |

| 10 | 11 | | team to an impressive 26-8 overall record in his first season as |

| 11 | 12 | | head coach at West Oso; under his able leadership, the squad |

| 12 | 13 | | captured the school's 40th district championship and advanced to |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The All-South Texas award provides fitting |
