| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County has been |

| 8 | 9 | | indeed merits special recognition; and |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The Williamson County Institute for Excellence in |

| 10 | 11 | | Nonprofits, which provides pro bono organizational assistance to |

| 11 | 12 | | local service groups, established the awards program to honor |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | initiatives that have started down the road to higher efficiency |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | and effectiveness; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Under the leadership of executive director Debbie |

| 15 | 16 | | Hoffman, Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County brings community |

| 16 | 17 | | volunteers together to build affordable housing for families in |

| 17 | 18 | | need; since its founding in 1999, the organization has constructed |

| 18 | 19 | | 59 homes for 62 families; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to empowering |

| 20 | 21 | | families by providing them with secure and comfortable housing, and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | it is a pleasure to join in recognizing the program's latest |

| 22 | 23 | | achievement; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Habitat for Humanity of Williamson |
