| 10 | 11 | | hurdlers from around the country at the Clyde Littlefield Texas |

| 11 | 12 | | Relays in Austin, Ms. Gonzalez crossed the finish line in 41.89 |

| 12 | 13 | | seconds to eclipse the previous top national time of 42.07 seconds; |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, This exceptional student-athlete has realized many |

| 17 | 18 | | state title in the 300-meter hurdles in 2014; she will continue her |

| 18 | 19 | | athletic career at the collegiate level in the fall as a member of |

| 19 | 20 | | the track and field squad at the University of Miami; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, In establishing her season-best time, Sami Gonzalez |

| 21 | 22 | | has distinguished herself as a competitor of rare ability, and her |

| 22 | 23 | | achievement is a source of great pride to her school and her many |

| 23 | 24 | | supporters in the community; now, therefore, be it |
