| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Dinah Kilgore has rendered outstanding service to El |

| 6 | 7 | | Paso County during her years of service with the El Paso Central |

| 7 | 8 | | Appraisal District; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Kilgore first joined the Central Appraisal |

| 9 | 10 | | District in 1982; she went to work as the land and contract |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | administrator for the aviation department of the City of El Paso in |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | 1998 and returned to the CAD in 2006 as manager of the commercial, |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | industrial, and personal property department; in 2010 she was |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | appointed executive director and chief appraiser; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, During her tenure, Ms. Kilgore has overseen a number |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | of important projects, including improvements to staff training |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | programs and the launch of several new technology initiatives, such |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | as an enhanced website to benefit both employees and El Paso |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | residents and businesses; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan is a member of several |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | noteworthy professional organizations, and she currently serves as |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | president-elect of the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts; |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | she has been honored twice by the International Association of |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | Assessing Officers, receiving a Public Information Award in 2010 |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | and a Certificate of Excellence in Assessment Administration in |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | 2012; and |

| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Dinah Kilgore has served the citizens of El Paso |

| 27 | 28 | | County with great dedication and skill, and she may indeed reflect |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | on her accomplishments with pride; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 30 | 31 | | Legislature hereby commend Dinah Kilgore for her service to El Paso |

| 31 | 32 | | County and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be |
