 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Dinah Kilgore has rendered outstanding service to El
 Paso County during her years of service with the El Paso Central
 Appraisal District; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Kilgore first joined the Central Appraisal
 District in 1982; she went to work as the land and contract
 administrator for the aviation department of the City of El Paso in
 1998 and returned to the CAD in 2006 as manager of the commercial,
 industrial, and personal property department; in 2010 she was
 appointed executive director and chief appraiser; and
 WHEREAS, During her tenure, Ms. Kilgore has overseen a number
 of important projects, including improvements to staff training
 programs and the launch of several new technology initiatives, such
 as an enhanced website to benefit both employees and El Paso
 residents and businesses; and
 WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan is a member of several
 noteworthy professional organizations, and she currently serves as
 president-elect of the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts;
 she has been honored twice by the International Association of
 Assessing Officers, receiving a Public Information Award in 2010
 and a Certificate of Excellence in Assessment Administration in
 2012; and
 WHEREAS, Dinah Kilgore has served the citizens of El Paso
 County with great dedication and skill, and she may indeed reflect
 on her accomplishments with pride; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Dinah Kilgore for her service to El Paso
 County and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be
 it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Kilgore as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
