| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Antonio Araujo can take well-deserved pride in the |

|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, In a job that requires the commitment of public |

| 9 | 10 | | support and effective collaboration with parents, teachers, and |

| 10 | 11 | | administrators, Mr. Araujo has worked tirelessly to advance the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | quality of schools in his district; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, This notable Texan joined the board in 1994 and is |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | currently serving his fourth term as its president; a job counselor |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | with the Texas Workforce Commission, he has previously acted as |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | director of Organización Progresiva de San Elizario, and he played |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | a vital role in the establishment of the San Elizario Food Bank in |

| 17 | 18 | | 2010; and |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Through his unwavering dedication to the students |

| 19 | 20 | | and staff of San Elizario ISD, Antonio Araujo has helped foster a |

| 20 | 21 | | supportive and challenging educational environment, and in so |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | doing, he has earned the respect and appreciation of his fellow |

| 22 | 23 | | residents; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby honor Antonio Araujo for his service to the San |

| 25 | 26 | | Elizario ISD Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere best wishes |
