| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Members of Christian Faith Missionary Baptist |

| 7 | 8 | | installation of their new senior pastor, the Reverend Roland |

| 8 | 9 | | E. Mouton Jr., on May 15, 2015; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of Sterling High School in Houston, |

| 10 | 11 | | Reverend Mouton attended Baylor University and Stephen F. Austin |

| 11 | 12 | | University; heeding his call to the ministry, he returned to |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Houston in 1984 to attend the Union Baptist College and Seminary; he |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | later received his bachelor of theology from Cornerstone University |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and his master's degree from Grace |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | Divinity College and Seminary; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, This respected clergyman was pastor of New Emmanuel |

| 17 | 18 | | Baptist Church in Lake Charles for 26 years, and he has preached in |

| 18 | 19 | | various other parts of the country; he is a member of the |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Independent Missionary Baptist General Association of Texas and has |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | served on a number of boards and committees in the Louisiana |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | jurisdiction; in appreciation for his work, he was awarded an |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | honorary doctor of divinity degree from Elbon Solutions College and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | Seminary in Apple Valley, California; and |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Since coming to the congregation of God With Us |

| 25 | 26 | | Ministries, Pastor Mouton has worked to convert a new space for |

| 26 | 27 | | worship; he also is an advocate for school improvement, child |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | welfare, and educational opportunity; and |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Pastor Mouton is supported by |

| 29 | 30 | | a loving family that includes his wife, Lisa Goodley Mouton, their |
|---|
| 30 | 31 | | children, Liaundra Nae, Christopher Andrew, JeTyren Jacoby, and |
|---|
| 31 | 32 | | Rose Elissa, and their grandchildren, Chloe and DeZyre; and |
|---|
| 32 | 33 | | WHEREAS, The installation of Pastor Mouton marks the |

| 33 | 34 | | beginning of a momentous new chapter in the life of this notable |

| 34 | 35 | | church, and members of the congregation may indeed look forward to a |
