R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Kiwanis Club of Waco Seniors has made a positive
difference in the lives of many young Central Texans; and
WHEREAS, Dedicated to changing the world one child and one
community at a time, the organization supports a variety of
worthwhile initiatives to benefit area youth; and
WHEREAS, Among those individuals who are active in the club
are a number of distinguished veterans who ably served this state
and nation at home and abroad and who continue to serve their fellow
citizens today through their selfless volunteerism; and
WHEREAS, The Kiwanis Club of Waco Seniors is committed to
bettering the world in which we live, and its members may take
justifiable pride in their shared legacy of good works; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby honor the members of the Kiwanis Club of Waco
Seniors for their charitable efforts and extend to them sincere
best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
