| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Darin Allen, a senior at Bruceville-Eddy High |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A gifted long-distance runner for the |

| 9 | 10 | | Bruceville-Eddy cross-country and track and field squads, |

| 10 | 11 | | Mr. Allen will compete in both sports and pursue his studies at West |

| 11 | 12 | | Texas A&M University in Canyon; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Allen qualified for the UIL cross country state |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | championships for four consecutive years, and he finished in second |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | place overall in Class 3A competition at the 2014 state meet; as a |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | member of the Eagles track team, he won the 2013 district |

| 16 | 17 | | championship in the 3,200-meter race and took part in the regional |

| 17 | 18 | | meet on three occasions; moreover, he was a three-time selection to |

| 18 | 19 | | the Cross Country Coaches Association of Texas All-State Team; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This exceptional student-athlete has demonstrated a |

| 20 | 21 | | tireless work ethic and an enduring commitment to excellence, and |

| 21 | 22 | | he may take great pride in all that he has accomplished as he looks |
