| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Dan Luiton has ably served his fellow Texans as an |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Luiton has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |

| 12 | 13 | | valuable experience in the field of public service; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Francisca and Rodrigo |

| 14 | 15 | | Luiton, Mr. Luiton is working toward a bachelor's degree in history |

| 15 | 16 | | at The University of Texas at Austin, and he plans to attend law |

| 16 | 17 | | school after his graduation; he has given generously of his time and |

| 17 | 18 | | talents to benefit such worthwhile endeavors as Volunteer Income |

| 18 | 19 | | Tax Assistance, United Way, and the Cameron County Department of |

| 19 | 20 | | Elections Voter Registration; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |

| 21 | 22 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 22 | 23 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
