| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Austin Nichols of Jasper High School has earned |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Nichols performed two pieces in the preliminary |

| 9 | 10 | | round and earned a spot as a finalist in the Winners Recital; at the |

| 10 | 11 | | conclusion of the event, he was named the first place winner in the |

| 11 | 12 | | Advanced II category; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Through his participation in the East Texas Piano |

| 13 | 14 | | Solo Festival Competition, Austin Nichols has demonstrated |
