R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Charlie Jackson Bell, the son of our esteemed
colleague Cecil Bell, is an outstanding young Texan whose future is
bright with promise; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bell is currently pursuing his higher education
at Tarleton State University, where he is in his junior year and
will soon be able to realize his goal of graduating from college;
and
WHEREAS, In the not-too-distant past, Mr. Bell had the good
fortune to make the acquaintance of a wonderful young woman, Brooke
Karoline Mosley, and the couple began dating on July 11, 2013; since
that time, whether hunting, fishing, or just spending time
together, the sun shines a little brighter and life is that much
sweeter for this devoted pair now that they have found one another;
and
WHEREAS, Throughout the course of Mr. Bell and Ms. Mosley's
relationship, it has become increasingly clear to them that they
are made for each other, and the couple celebrated their 18-month
anniversary roasting marshmallows over an open fire and dancing
under a moonlit sky to their favorite song; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bell realizes how lucky he is to have met
Ms. Mosley and that he can no longer envision his future without his
girl by his side; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby officially deliver the marriage proposal of
Charlie Jackson Bell, who humbly awaits the answer of his beloved,
Brooke Karoline Mosley, to the question of whether she will marry
him and agree to become his lawfully wedded wife.
