| 11 | 12 | | show dramatic gains in student performance; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Under the able leadership of principal Linda Stout, |

| 13 | 14 | | Crawford Elementary has consistently met and exceeded state and |

| 14 | 15 | | national targets for closing achievement gaps between student |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | groups; for 15 consecutive years, it earned a ranking of exemplary |

| 16 | 17 | | from the Texas Education Agency, and its students have attained |

| 17 | 18 | | outstanding TAKS and STAAR scores for nearly two decades; part of |

| 18 | 19 | | the Crawford Independent School District, this notable educational |

| 19 | 20 | | institution was one of only 26 public schools in the state to be |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Through hard work and dedication, the faculty and |

| 23 | 24 | | academic achievement, and their efforts were deservedly recognized |

| 24 | 25 | | with this nomination; now, therefore, be it |
