| 11 | 12 | | issues facing the Lone Star State, she has gained valuable |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Martha and Santiago |

| 14 | 15 | | Velasquez, Ms. Velasquez is originally from Gilroy, California; |

| 15 | 16 | | she is a first-year master's student at The University of Texas at |

| 16 | 17 | | Austin, where she is studying curriculum and instruction, and she |

| 17 | 18 | | is active with the Cultural Studies in Education Graduate Student |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Yesenia Velasquez has performed her duties as an |

| 20 | 21 | | education fellow with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
