R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jacob Steele Yarnell of Austin has been accepted to
the United States Air Force Academy; and
WHEREAS, A senior at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy in
the Austin Independent School District, Mr. Yarnell is a member of
the National Honor Society and the United States Soccer Development
Academy; his prowess on the soccer field earned him District 26-4A
Defensive Player of the Year honors for 2012-2013, and he will
continue to play for the USAFA; and
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Yarnell enjoys the love
and support of his parents, William and Christina Yarnell; he is
also the proud older brother of Nathaniel, William, and
Christopher; and
WHEREAS, With his admission to the Air Force Academy, Jacob
Yarnell may look forward to myriad exciting challenges and
opportunities, and he is indeed deserving of recognition for his
exemplary achievements; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jacob Steele Yarnell on his
acceptance to the United States Air Force Academy and extend to him
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Yarnell as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
