| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Elizabeth Baker, a music teacher at Mary Martin |

| 7 | 8 | | of the Best award by the Weatherford Star-Telegram; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Baker, now in her fourth year at Martin |

| 9 | 10 | | Elementary, was honored for her dedication to enriching the lives |

| 10 | 11 | | of her students through music and theater; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of the University of North Texas, |

| 12 | 13 | | Ms. Baker initially taught in the Brock Independent School |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | District, and she joined Weatherford ISD after spending a number of |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | years raising her three children; in addition to her duties in the |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | classroom, she works with a team of volunteers to produce the annual |

| 16 | 17 | | Mary Martin Elementary spring musical as a tribute to the school's |

| 17 | 18 | | Broadway star namesake; and |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Elizabeth Baker has served as a role model, |

| 19 | 20 | | motivator, and mentor, exemplifying the qualities that are the |

| 20 | 21 | | hallmarks of a great teacher, and she has earned the respect and |

| 21 | 22 | | admiration of her colleagues and students alike; now, therefore, be |
