No. 2738 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Civil Air Patrol Cadet Stephen Parker of Waco has earned the Mary Feik Achievement Ribbon and promotion to cadet senior airman; and WHEREAS, Named for the first woman engineer in research and development in the engineering division of the United States Air Force Air Technical Service Command, Mary Feik, this notable achievement is presented to CAP cadets who have demonstrated proficiency in a number of areas, including leadership, aerospace dimensions, and physical fitness; and WHEREAS, The son of Andria Parker, this fine young Texan currently attends Waco Baptist Academy; and WHEREAS, Cadet Stephen Parker has shown discipline and a commitment to excellence in all his activities with the Civil Air Patrol, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his achievements; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Stephen Parker on his accomplishments as a Civil Air Patrol cadet and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Cadet Parker as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
