| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Six members of the Rotary Club of Waco celebrated 50 |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Guided by the motto "Service Above Self," the Rotary |

| 8 | 9 | | Club of Waco is composed of neighbors, friends, and civic leaders |

| 9 | 10 | | who work to create positive, lasting change in the community; and |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Noley Bice and Floyd Jensen joined the Waco Rotary |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | in 1964, while Mark Deering, John Dietz, David Dow, and Wilton |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Lanning Jr. became members in 1965; Monsignor Mark Deering was also |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | recognized for 50 years of perfect attendance; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, These outstanding Rotarians have contributed to |

| 15 | 16 | | their fellow citizens through a lifetime of purposeful endeavor |

| 16 | 17 | | and, in so doing, they have set an inspiring example of compassion |

| 17 | 18 | | and generosity toward others; now, therefore, be it |

| 18 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 19 | 20 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Noley Bice, Floyd Jensen, Mark |
