| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Three members of the Kirbyville Junior High School |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Daphne Chism established two new school marks with |

| 9 | 10 | | her times of 16.98 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles and 53.47 |

| 10 | 11 | | seconds in the 300-meter hurdles; also setting new school records |

| 11 | 12 | | were Shay Pickering with a triple jump of 29 feet, 7 inches, and |

| 12 | 13 | | Hailey Davis with a discus throw of 79 feet, 10 inches; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, With their remarkable showings at the district track |

| 14 | 15 | | meet, these talented student-athletes have brought credit to their |

| 15 | 16 | | school, and they may take justifiable pride in the skill and |

| 16 | 17 | | dedication they have demonstrated; now, therefore, be it |
