5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Natalie James of Waco and DeeAnn Hoffman of Robinson |

6 | 7 | | have been inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society; and |

7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is America's oldest |

8 | 9 | | and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic |
---|
9 | 10 | | disciplines; membership in the society requires an invitation, |
---|
10 | 11 | | nomination, and approval by a collegiate chapter, and only |
---|
11 | 12 | | outstanding juniors and seniors who rank in the top 7.5 or 10 |
---|
12 | 13 | | percent of their classes, respectively, may be admitted; and |
---|
13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, With their selection, Ms. James and Ms. Hoffman are |

14 | 15 | | among some 32,000 students, faculty, professional staff, and alumni |

15 | 16 | | to be initiated into the prestigious society each year; and |

16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, These fine young Texans have demonstrated hard work |

17 | 18 | | and a strong commitment to excellence in their educational |

18 | 19 | | endeavors, and they may indeed look forward to a future bright with |
