| 14 | 15 | | known as Woody's BBQ; since 2007, this popular destination has been |

| 15 | 16 | | owned by Michael and Asenette Hernandez, who slow-cook their |

| 16 | 17 | | brisket, sausage, chicken, turkey, and pork over a combination of |

| 17 | 18 | | mesquite and post oak; in 2009, their barbecue was voted the best in |

| 18 | 19 | | Hays County, and in 2013, the restaurant made the prestigious Top 50 |

| 19 | 20 | | Barbecue Joints list in Texas Monthly magazine; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Texas barbecue is renowned across the nation and |

| 21 | 22 | | around the world, and this proud culinary tradition is maintained |

| 22 | 23 | | and enriched by outstanding Central Texas businesses such as Hays |

| 23 | 24 | | County Bar-B-Que; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
