56 WHEREAS, Chris Bookman and Dylan Walker of SnapBrothers
67 Productions were recognized for the second consecutive year at the
78 2015 Tongies award ceremony, conducted in Los Angeles on March 5;

910 WHEREAS, Established in 2014 by Tongal, a community-sourced
1011 platform for creative content, the annual Tongies acknowledge
1112 excellence in the work produced by participants for global video
1213 campaigns promoting brands, film studios, and musical artists; the
1314 winners are selected by Tongal members and fans through an online
1415 voting process; and
1516 WHEREAS, SnapBrothers Productions received the 2015 Best
1617 Original Song award for its tune advertising Miller Lite beer, "For
1718 Lite, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness"; the company was also
1819 nominated for Best Tonglar of the Year and Best Gig Video; in 2014,
1920 SnapBrothers brought home the Best Original Song trophy for "The
2021 Fruit Will Set You Free," composed for a Welch's Fruit Snacks
2122 commercial; and
2223 WHEREAS, Through their talent, hard work, and creativity,
2324 Chris Bookman and Dylan Walker have gained national attention for
2425 their company, and they may take justifiable pride in their
2526 accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
2627 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2728 Legislature hereby congratulate Chris Bookman and Dylan Walker of
2829 SnapBrothers Productions on their second consecutive Tongie award
2930 and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued success; and,
3031 be it further
3132 RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
3233 for Mr. Bookman and Mr. Walker as an expression of high regard by
3334 the Texas House of Representatives.
