R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Marc Christian Carrera Villaceran is graduating as
the salutatorian of the senior class of Foy H. Moody High School in
Corpus Christi in 2015; and
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
highest academic standards; Mr. Villaceran has demonstrated a
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, with his
favorites being science and English; in addition, he participated
in numerous extracurricular activities, including science club,
Youth and Government, and National Honor Society; and
WHEREAS, The son of Conrado and Marites Villaceran,
Mr. Villaceran plans to continue his education by enrolling at
Texas A&M University--Corpus Christi to study biomedical science as
a pre-med student; and
WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Marc Christian
Carrera Villaceran has earned the respect and admiration of his
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability,
hard work, and commitment to excellence have opened the way to
limitless opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Marc Christian Carrera Villaceran,
salutatorian of the Class of 2015 at Foy H. Moody High School in
Corpus Christi, and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success as he begins the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Villaceran as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
