 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Phillip Galligan is graduating as the salutatorian
 of the senior class of the Harold T. Branch Academy for Career and
 Technical Education in Corpus Christi in 2015; and
 WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
 highest academic standards; Mr. Galligan has demonstrated a
 thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, with his
 favorites being computer maintenance, networking, and theatre; in
 addition, he participated in numerous extracurricular activities,
 including CompTIA Certification and SkillsUSA; and
 WHEREAS, The son of James Galligan, Mr. Galligan plans to
 continue his education by enrolling at Texas A&M University--Corpus
 Christi to study computer science; and
 WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Phillip Galligan
 has earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and
 classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and
 commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless
 opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be
 it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Phillip Galligan, salutatorian of
 the Class of 2015 at the Harold T. Branch Academy for Career and
 Technical Education in Corpus Christi, and extend to him sincere
 best wishes for continued success as he begins the next exciting
 chapter of his life; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Galligan as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
