 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Newton County lost a beloved resident and an admired
 community leader with the passing of County Judge Ronnie Boyett on
 May 9, 2015; and
 WHEREAS, Ronnie Boyett was born on May 22, 1948, to James H.
 and Lillian Patterson Boyett in Newton; he was a lifelong resident
 of the city and the former owner of the Newton Feed Store; he ran for
 the position of Newton County judge in 2014 and was unopposed in
 both the primary and the general election; and
 WHEREAS, Judge Boyett enjoyed a rewarding family life with
 his wife, Martha, and their children, Wade and Tina; as his extended
 family grew, he delighted in spending time with his four
 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and
 WHEREAS, Ronnie Boyett was a devoted family man and an
 outstanding community leader, and his commitment to his loved ones
 and to Newton County will be remembered for years to come; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of the Honorable Ronnie
 Boyett and extend heartfelt condolences to the members of his
 family: to his wife, Martha Boyett; to his children, Wade Boyett and
 Tina Easley, and her husband, Brad; to his siblings, Charlie
 Boyett, Alta Cooper, Dorothy Dawson, Ruth Brown, Reba Griffin,
 Wanda Wood, Betty White, Joyce Horn, and Peggy Bazarth; to his
 grandchildren, Justin Conn and Michael, Christian, and Emily
 Boyett; to his great-grandson, Tuff Conn; and to his other
 relatives and many friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Newton
 County Judge Ronnie Boyett.
