45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Justine M. Borchard is graduating as the
67 valedictorian of the senior class of Calallen High School in Corpus
78 Christi in 2015; and
89 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
910 intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
1011 highest academic standards; Ms. Borchard has demonstrated a
1112 thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her
1213 favorites being mathematics, science, and art; in addition, she
1314 participated in numerous extracurricular activities, including
1415 National Honor Society, Earth Club, and the Fellowship of Christian
1516 Athletes; and
1617 WHEREAS, The daughter of Ralph and Alicia Borchard,
1718 Ms. Borchard plans to continue her education by enrolling at The
1819 University of Texas at Dallas to study biomedical engineering; and
1920 WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Justine M. Borchard
2021 has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and
2122 classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and
2223 commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless
2324 opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be
2425 it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby congratulate Justine M. Borchard, valedictorian
2728 of the Class of 2015 at Calallen High School in Corpus Christi, and
2829 extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
2930 begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Ms. Borchard as an expression of high regard by the
3233 Texas House of Representatives.
