R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Savannah Harper is graduating as the valedictorian
of the senior class of Agua Dulce High School in 2015; and
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
highest academic standards; Ms. Harper has demonstrated a thorough
understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her favorites being
mathematics and science; in addition, she participated in numerous
extracurricular activities, including student council, National
Honor Society, and a number of sports teams; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of Kimberley Harper-Garcia and Joseph
Harper, Ms. Harper plans to continue her education by enrolling at
Texas A&M University to study kinesiology; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Savannah Harper has
earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates,
and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment
to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for
this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Savannah Harper, valedictorian of
the Class of 2015 at Agua Dulce High School, and extend to her
sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next
exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Harper as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
