| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Louis Moncus, vice president of the Bosqueville |

| 6 | 7 | | Independent School District Board of Trustees, retired from the |

| 7 | 8 | | board on May 11, 2015, after a long and distinguished tenure; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A Bosqueville ISD trustee for the better part of the |

| 9 | 10 | | past 45 years, Mr. Moncus joined the board before his eldest |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | daughter started kindergarten and was still on it when his youngest |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | daughter graduated from high school; while in office, he developed |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | an encyclopedic knowledge of information about the district; he |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | also performed a wide range of tasks at little to no cost, from |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | grading roads on district property to working on the new football |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | stadium; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Mr. Moncus has enjoyed the |

| 17 | 18 | | love and support of his wife of 52 years, Elois, and he takes great |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | pride in his four children, Monica, Shane, Allison, and Susanne, |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | and his nine grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to Bosqueville |

| 21 | 22 | | schools, Louis Moncus has helped foster a supportive and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | challenging educational environment, and his contributions will |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | continue to benefit the district's students and staff for years to |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | come; now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |

| 26 | 27 | | Legislature hereby honor Louis Moncus on the occasion of his |

| 27 | 28 | | retirement from the Bosqueville ISD Board of Trustees and extend to |

| 28 | 29 | | him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
