H.R. No. 2970
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Louis Moncus, vice president of the Bosqueville
Independent School District Board of Trustees, retired from the
board on May 11, 2015, after a long and distinguished tenure; and
WHEREAS, A Bosqueville ISD trustee for the better part of the
past 45 years, Mr. Moncus joined the board before his eldest
daughter started kindergarten and was still on it when his youngest
daughter graduated from high school; while in office, he developed
an encyclopedic knowledge of information about the district; he
also performed a wide range of tasks at little to no cost, from
grading roads on district property to working on the new football
stadium; and
WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Mr. Moncus has enjoyed the
love and support of his wife of 52 years, Elois, and he takes great
pride in his four children, Monica, Shane, Allison, and Susanne,
and his nine grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to Bosqueville
schools, Louis Moncus has helped foster a supportive and
challenging educational environment, and his contributions will
continue to benefit the district's students and staff for years to
come; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby honor Louis Moncus on the occasion of his
retirement from the Bosqueville ISD Board of Trustees and extend to
him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Moncus as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
