| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Paul Joseph Scioli Jr. of Boy Scouts of America |

| 6 | 7 | | Troop No. 157 in Lubbock has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and |

| 7 | 8 | | this accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant |

| 9 | 10 | | honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the |

| 10 | 11 | | scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding |

| 11 | 12 | | criteria, Mr. Scioli earned the requisite 21 merit badges and |

| 12 | 13 | | served his troop as patrol leader and chaplain's aide; he also |

| 13 | 14 | | successfully completed an Eagle Scout project of benefit to his |

| 14 | 15 | | community, which included making vital improvements to a storage |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | closet at a local Boys and Girls Club; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The son of Paul and Sharon Scioli, this fine young |

| 17 | 18 | | Texan has further distinguished himself as a dedicated student and |

| 18 | 19 | | athlete; a member of the National Honor Society, he is ranked among |

| 19 | 20 | | the top honor roll students in his senior class at Coronado High |

| 20 | 21 | | School, where he has participated in baseball, football, and |

| 21 | 22 | | basketball; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Scioli's dedication to excellence and |

| 23 | 24 | | his perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy |

| 24 | 25 | | to stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with |
