45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, The girls' relay team from Hardin-Jefferson High
67 School in Sour Lake achieved great distinction by winning the
78 silver medal in the Class 4A 4x100-meter relay at the 2015
89 University Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and
910 WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at
1011 Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 16, the relay team of Taylor
1112 Aldrich, Wreagan Taylor, Katelyn Holland, and Raegan Padgett
1213 finished the race with an impressive time of 47.81 seconds to claim
1314 runner-up honors; moreover, these four talented student-athletes
1415 also went on to compete in the 4x200-meter relay event at the state
1516 meet; and
1617 WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for
1718 high school track & field athletes, the members of the
1819 Hardin-Jefferson High School girls' relay team have ably
1920 represented their school, and they will cherish their memories of
2021 this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore,
2122 be it
2223 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
2324 Legislature hereby congratulate the members of the girls' relay
2425 team from Hardin-Jefferson High School on their second-place finish
2526 in the Class 4A 4x100-meter relay and their participation in the
2627 4x200-meter relay at the 2015 UIL Track & Field State Meet and
2728 extend to them sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it

2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for the athletes as an expression of high regard by the
3132 Texas House of Representatives.
