| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Carsen Meredith Hartung of Humble has received an |

| 7 | 8 | | opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of this outstanding |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The Academic All-American award is given to a |

| 10 | 11 | | student-athlete who has earned straight As for two consecutive |

| 11 | 12 | | years on entering middle school; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A seventh grade student at Atascocita Middle School, |

| 13 | 14 | | Ms. Hartung has excelled in her schoolwork while also competing on |

| 14 | 15 | | the volleyball, basketball, and track teams; additionally, she is |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | involved with the National Charity League and National Junior Honor |

| 16 | 17 | | Society, and she is a valued congregant at Woodlands Church; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of James Linus and Lea Meredith |

| 18 | 19 | | Hartung, Carsen Hartung has proven herself to be an exemplary |

| 19 | 20 | | student and a skilled athlete, and she may indeed look forward to a |

| 20 | 21 | | future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |
