| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jocelyn Leon is graduating from Pasadena Early |

| 6 | 7 | | College High School on June 4, 2015; and |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, In undertaking the rigorous PECHS curriculum, |

| 8 | 9 | | Ms. Leon has completed an accelerated course of study in which she |

| 9 | 10 | | has earned both a high school diploma and an associate's degree of |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | science in mathematics from San Jacinto Community College; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Leon also participated in a number of |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | extracurricular activities at PECHS, competing with the school's |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Academic Decathlon team and serving as a member of the National Art |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Honor Society; upon graduation, she plans to continue her education |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | at Texas A&M University, where she will study chemical engineering; |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, During her years at PECHS, this accomplished young |

| 18 | 19 | | Texan has distinguished herself through her skill and |

| 19 | 20 | | determination, and the knowledge and confidence she has acquired |
